Standard Chartered has appointed Manus Costello as its new chief financial officer. Costello takes over from Diego De Giorgi, who resigned earlier this year. This move comes just ahead of an important strategy update from the bank. Costello, who joined StanChart in 2024, brings extensive experience in equity research. Tanuj Kapilashrami will also become the bank’s group chief operating officer.
