RBI proposes to include PSUs in upper-layer NBFCs

The Reserve Bank of India is proposing new rules for identifying top non-banking finance companies. An asset size of over Rs 1 lakh crore will now determine if a company is in the upper layer. Government-owned entities will also be considered for this category. These changes aim for a simpler and more transparent system.
