Monisha Chakraborty has been appointed as Executive Director at the Reserve Bank of India. She will assume this new role effective August 3, 2026. Chakraborty brings over three decades of experience from various central bank departments. She will now oversee the Foreign Exchange and Financial Markets Regulation departments.
