Skyworth from China is partnering with Super Plastronics in India to relaunch Philips televisions in January. Super Plastronics will manufacture the TVs in a new plant in Uttar Pradesh. Skyworth has the license of Philips for televisions in India and some other markets. The exact details of the partnership, which could be a joint venture too, is yet to be firmed up.
