The Enforcement Directorate has issued a show cause notice to Paytm’s parent company and its affiliates for allegedly violating FEMA regulations, totaling around Rs 611 crore. Investigations revealed that One 97 Communications Limited and its subsidiaries failed to comply with RBI’s reporting and pricing guidelines regarding foreign investments and direct investments.
