The insolvency tribunal NCLT has barred Subhash Chandra from alienating his assets. It also stayed an order allowing him to settle claims for about Rs 6.5 crore. This settlement was against claims of roughly Rs 22,006 crore from creditors. The tribunal cited a lack of clear majority view on the repayment plan. The matter has also reached the NCLAT for further legal proceedings.
