Mental health benefits outweigh pay rise: 70% of employees prioritise well-being over higher pay, survey finds
Mid and senior-level workers reported greater stress than entry-level workers and were less likely to say work helped their mental health. The survey found 70% of workers said they would prioritise mental health support over higher pay, with 80% of employees saying their jobs negatively affect their mental health and 39% having quit for this reason. According to the survey, access to mental health benefits remains limited and largely underused.
