Jayanti Prasad has taken additional charge as Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India Chairperson. He succeeds Ravi Mital, who completed his tenure after turning sixty-five last week. Prasad will serve in this role until November 20, 2026, or until a successor is appointed. The government has already initiated the process to find a full-time replacement. This appointment is in addition to his existing duties as a Whole Time Member.
