IndiGo appointed Vikram Singh Mehta as its new chairman, succeeding Venkataramani Sumantran. Mehta, an existing board member, brings experience from Shell and board roles at Colgate Palmolive India, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Larsen & Toubro. Sumantran had served as chairman for three years during the post-pandemic recovery phase.
