India’s gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections for September 2026 rose 14.7% year-on-year to Rs 2,03,521 crore, driven by a 25.9% increase in import revenue and a 10.1% rise in domestic revenue. Net GST revenue stood at Rs 1,76,520 crore, registering an 18.1% year-on-year growth. Maharashtra, Karnataka and Gujarat were the leading contributors to GST collections among states.
