Germany’s DHL to cut 8,000 jobs this year after annual operating profit falls 7.2%

DHL plans to lay off approximately 8,000 employees in 2025 as part of its ‘Fit for Growth’ initiative, aiming to save over 1 billion euros by 2027. Despite a challenging economic environment, the company reported a 7.2% decline in annual operating profit but expects to see improvement in 2025.
