The corporate affairs ministry has extended the deadlines for submitting annual financial statements and returns for fiscal year 2025-26. Companies can now file financial statements until December 31, 2026, without incurring additional fees. The deadline for submitting annual returns has also been adjusted to January 31, 2027. This extension comes after stakeholders faced challenges with the MCA 21 portal.
