Adani, Tata and 5 other domestic firms throw hat in ring to develop fifth-gen fighter jets

Seven Indian firms, including L&T, HAL, Adani Defence, Tata Advanced Systems, and Kalyani Strategic Systems, have submitted bids for the Advanced Multirole Combat Aircraft (AMCA) programme, India’s largest military R&D project. The panel, led by ex-DRDO scientist A Sivathanu Pillai, will evaluate technical and commercial proposals.
