Jagdeep Dhankhar resigned as Vice President of India. He cited medical advice as the reason. His resignation is effective immediately. Dhankhar served as the 14th Vice President since August 2022. His tenure saw clashes with the Opposition. He is the second Vice President to resign. Dhankhar’s political career includes roles as MP and Governor.
