US Supreme Court strikes down Trump's tariff on global trade

The US Supreme Court on Friday delivered a significant blow to President Donald Trump’s economic policies, invalidating most of his sweeping tariff measures. The court ruled that the President lacked the authority under the 1977 International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) to impose extensive import duties on goods from nearly all US trading partners.
