SEBI has broadened the eligibility criteria for professionals who can be part of the internal audit teams at Credit Rating Agencies. The revised rules now permit Cost Accountants alongside Chartered Accountants. Additionally, professionals with certifications in information system security audit are also eligible, aiming for a more inclusive and comprehensive audit process.
