India’s net direct tax collections surged 7% to ₹12.92 lakh crore by November 10, driven by robust corporate tax inflows and a significant 18% reduction in refund payouts. Gross collections reached ₹15.35 lakh crore, with personal income tax also showing a healthy increase.
