India houses more than half of the world’s GCCs: Report

India, home to 53% of global GCCs, is witnessing a surge in these centers, driven by competitive costs and a skilled workforce. While Tier-1 cities dominate, Tier-2 cities are gaining traction, supported by government initiatives. The number of GCCs in India is projected to exceed 2,100 by FY 2028, with the IT-ITeS sector leading the expansion.
