The Reserve Bank of India announced the appointment of Anuradha Thakur, the Economic Affairs Secretary, to its central board, succeeding Ajay Seth, who retired on June 30. Thakur, a 1994-batch IAS officer, assumed her role in the Department of Economic Affairs on July 1.
