The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has appointed former CBDT Chairman Nitin Gupta as the new Chairperson of the National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA), effective July 16, 2025. Three full-time members, Smita Jhingran (IRS Retd.), P. Daniel (IDES), and Sushil Kumar Jaiswal, have also been inducted into the NFRA’s governing body.
