The Delhi High Court has shielded Canon India from coercive actions by revenue authorities concerning alleged excess input tax credit (ITC) and GST short-payments. The court addressed Canon’s petition challenging a Rs 2.24 crore tax demand for FY 2017-18, issuing a notice to relevant departments.
