The Supreme Court has allowed the Centre to consider Vodafone Idea’s plea to quash additional Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR) demands for the period up to 2016-17. The government, now holding 49% equity in the company and serving 20 crore consumers, will examine the issues raised by Vodafone Idea, acknowledging the matter falls within its policy domain.
