IndiGo announced that Amitabh Kant has been appointed as an additional director on its board, effective September 15, 2025. This follows the receipt of security clearance from the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Kant, previously the CEO of Niti Aayog and India’s G20 Sherpa, will serve as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director.
