Indranil Bhattacharyya, currently the Executive Director of RBI’s Monetary Policy Department since March 19, 2025, is expected to become a member of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC). He will succeed Rajiv Ranjan, who is reportedly transitioning to head the Department of Economic & Policy Research, according to ET Now sources.
