For the full fiscal year 2025-26, the central bank has projected CPI inflation at 3.1%, with quarterly projections of 2.1% in Q2, 3.1% in Q3, and 4.4% in Q4. CPI inflation for the first quarter of 2026-27 is forecast at 4.9%. The RBI added that the risks are evenly balanced.
