Schaeffler India CEO & MD taken into custody over June factory accident

Harsha Gopal Kadam, CEO of Schaeffler India, was taken into custody on October 19 for investigation. This relates to a factory accident that occurred on June 9, resulting in two worker deaths. The deaths happened due to a sudden discharge of carbon dioxide during a cylinder replacement. Schaeffler India stated that it has cooperated with authorities throughout the investigation process.
