Rupee falls 30 paise to 95.84 against US dollar in early trade

The rupee fell 30 paise to 95.84 against the US dollar in early trade. Elevated Brent crude oil prices and Middle East tensions fueled dollar demand. This surge in oil prices increased safe-haven demand for the dollar globally. Forex and equity markets were closed on Monday for Ganesh Chaturthi. Foreign institutional investors offloaded equities worth Rs 930.90 crore on Friday.
