Essar Energy Transition’s retail arm is acquiring SGN Retail for approximately 400 million pounds. This deal adds 118 sites, creating a 235-site network for the company. The enlarged network will make EET Retail the UK’s second-largest forecourt operator. EET plans to expand its network to 800 sites by 2031. This acquisition strengthens domestic fuel supply resilience and integrates production with distribution.
