India to build Phase-II strategic oil reserves at Rs 14,527 cr under PPP model

India plans a second phase for its strategic petroleum reserves. This expansion will add significant crude oil storage capacity. The project will utilize a public-private partnership model for development. Government funding will cap at sixty percent of the total cost. New sites for additional reserves are also being continuously assessed.
