India’s merchandise trade deficit widened to $30.43 billion in June. This figure exceeded economists’ expectations for the month. Merchandise exports saw a decrease from the previous month’s levels. Imports also experienced a reduction compared to May’s figures. Services trade, however, contributed a surplus to the overall balance.
