Fino Payments Bank has put managing director Rishi Gupta’s reappointment on hold, pending a regulatory review of his ‘fit and proper’ status by the RBI. The bank’s board withdrew a shareholder vote notice after Gupta’s recent arrest and subsequent bail in a GST probe. His candidature remains under consideration for a future date.
