Air India braces for record $1.6 billion loss after deadly crash

Air India is set to report a record annual loss of at least ₹150 billion for the year ending March 31 after a deadly crash and airspace disruptions reversed its turnaround efforts. The airline, jointly owned by Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, was moving toward break-even before the June Dreamliner crash that killed over 240 people.
