India’s public sector oil companies have secured a one-year contract to import approximately 2.2 million tonnes per annum of LPG from the US Gulf Coast starting in 2026. This marks the first structured supply agreement for US LPG in India, aiming to diversify sourcing and ensure stable, affordable supplies for domestic consumers.
