1. Mr. Jinesh Gopani

Jinesh Gopani brings forth a wealth of experience totaling 13 years in capital markets, with a dedicated focus of 4 years in managing equity funds. Holding a Master’s in Management Studies (MMS) with a specialization in Finance from Mumbai University, he has been steering the helm as the Fund Manager of Equities at Axis Asset Management Company Ltd. since 2011. Prior to this role, he served as the Assistant Fund Manager of Equities.

Before his tenure at Axis Mutual Fund, Jinesh was affiliated with Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company Ltd. as the Portfolio Manager. Earlier in his career, he held pivotal positions such as Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst at Voyager India Capital Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. Gopani’s portfolio management prowess extends to overseeing key funds such as Axis Long Term Equity Fund, Axis Growth Opportunities Fund, and Axis Focused 25 Fund.

2. Mr. Shreyash Devalkar

Shreyash Devalkar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from UDCT, Mumbai, and a Master’s in Management Studies (MMS) with a specialization in Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.

Beginning his professional journey as an Executive Engineer at Larsen & Toubro Limited in 1999, Mr. Devalkar progressed to managerial roles, notably at Calyon Bank in 2003 and JP Morgan Services India Ltd. as an Analyst in 2004. His expertise further flourished as he assumed the role of Vice President of Research at IDFC Capital Ltd., eventually becoming the Vice President of Investments at IDFC Asset Management Company Ltd.

In 2011, BNP Paribas Asset Management India Private Ltd welcomed him as an Equity Analyst in the PMS division, where he swiftly ascended to the position of Fund Manager of Equities the same year.

Since 2016, Mr. Devalkar has held the esteemed position of Senior Fund Manager at Axis Bank Mutual Fund, where he oversees prominent funds such as Axis Multicap Fund, Axis Mid Cap Fund, and Axis Bluechip Fund. Notably, under his stewardship, the Axis Bluechip Fund witnessed a substantial growth of 21.5% return in FY 2017-18, outperforming counterparts in the industry.

3. Mr. Ashish Naik

Ashish Naik, equipped with a PGDBM in Finance and Marketing from XLRI, Jamshedpur, alongside being a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM), also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.

Commencing his career as a Software Engineer at Hexaware Technologies, Mr. Naik transitioned seamlessly into the financial domain, serving as a Sell-side Equity Research Analyst at Goldman Sachs, where he specialized in creating financial models for Korean and Malaysian banks.

Joining Axis Mutual Fund in 2009 as a Research Analyst, Mr. Naik’s responsibilities encompassed risk analysis, portfolio performance evaluation, and marketing of mutual funds, among others. Recognizing his acumen, he was promoted to Assistant Fund Manager in 2016 and subsequently assumed the role of Fund Manager in 2018.

Ashish Naik spearheads the management of significant funds including Axis Regular Saver Fund, Axis Equity Hybrid Fund, Axis Children’s Gift Fund – Compulsory Lock-In, Axis Triple Advantage Fund, and Axis NIFTY ETF.

4. Mr. R. Sivakumar

R. Sivakumar, a distinguished alumnus holding a BTech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and an MBD degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, boasts a prolific career spanning over two decades in the financial landscape.

Embarking on his professional journey as a Research and Investment Analyst at Zurich India AMC & ITC Threadneedle AMC in 1998, Mr. Sivakumar has held pivotal roles including Fund Manager of Fixed Income at Sundaram Asset Management Company Ltd. and Chief Operating Officer at Fortis Investments.

Since 2009, Mr. Sivakumar has been at the helm as the Head of Fixed Income at Axis Mutual Fund, where he orchestrates the management of key schemes such as Axis Triple Advantage Fund, Axis Equity Saver Fund, Axis Equity Hybrid Fund, Axis Dynamic Equity Fund, Axis Dynamic Bond Fund, and Axis Children’s Gift Fund – Compulsory Lock-In.

5. Mr. Hitesh Das

Mr. Hitesh Das, a seasoned professional, holds postgraduate degrees in PGDM, M.Tech, and B.Tech. Prior to his tenure at Axis Mutual Fund, he garnered diverse experience through stints at Credit Suisse Securities (India) Pvt. Ltd., Barclays Securities India Pvt. Ltd., Yes Bank, and Ebusinessware (India) Pvt. Ltd.

6. Mr. Aaditya Pagaria

Aaditya Pagaria, armed with a Bachelor’s in Management Studies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the Institute Of Technology And Management, SK Somaiya College, transitioned into his role at Axis AMC after serving as a Fund Manager – Fixed Income Operations at ICICI Prudential AMC.

7. Mr. Devang Shah

Devang Shah currently holds the position of Deputy Head – Fixed Income at Axis AMC. Prior to his tenure at Axis, he contributed his expertise as a Fund Manager at ICICI Prudential AMC. At Axis AMC, his primary focus lies in analyzing and managing top-quartile performance across all funds, while also fostering client relationships.
